5 easy steps to making a perfect hard boiled egg.
1. Fill a pot 3/4 way up with cool/cold water and place on stove
2. Place eggs in the water (be careful when placing them in the pot to prevent cracking)
3. Put burner on high and boil water for 5 minutes
4. Turn burner off and let water cool with the eggs in the pot for about 8 minutes
5, Drain the hot water and let eggs cool further then place in fridge to eat later!
Pro Tip: Older eggs will peel better. Very fresh eggs, new from the farm or the market may be more difficult to peel so use your older eggs for boiling and fresh eggs for scrambling, baking or stove top cooking.
